Welcome to the most unique ride on South African soil.

The Tribal Lands are once again home to the unbelievable Transkei Trek, and this time we’re even closer to civilisation, with Trennerys Hotel as our base for three epic days. Just an hour’s drive from East London Airport, it’s super easy to get there. Send your bike via courier, fly in, and jump on the shuttle. No stress, just adventure.

Imagine this: winding trails through rolling hills, Xhosa villages sitting high on the ridges, and kids lining the path with big smiles and cheers. You’ll ride alongside the “Transkei Big Five”, otherwise known as chickens, dogs, goats, cows, and donkeys. But sometimes pigs, sheep, or horses are thrown into the mix too.

The Wild Coast is seriously one of the most beautiful and untouched coastlines in the world. And while the daily distances aren’t huge, this ride isn’t exactly a cruise. We’re talking cattle paths, steep climbs and proper off-the-grid riding. You might need to walk here and there, but trust us, it’s 100% worth it to explore places most bikes have never been.
